Etech:Miley Cyrus goes antique shopping in Buenos Aires… but she can’t take her mind off home

When many celebrities head out on a World tour they barely see the cities they visit – just the hotel rooms.

But Miley Cyrus has proved to be quite the culture vulture during her stop on Buenos Aires yesterday, for a while at least.

The 18-year-old singer, who is currently touring with her Gypsy Heart show, was seen scouring an antiques shop at the San Telmo in the South American city and appeared captivated by the potential treasures the shop had in store.

The singer was dressed in a cream leather jacket a Harley Davidson T-shirt and a pair of jeans for the shopping trip, accessorising with a large silver cross around her neck.

The Climb singer pointed out at different trinkets and treasures before she found a comfortable spot to check her phone.

And signs of earlier enthusiasm appeared to dwindle as she puffed out her cheeks and let out a sigh.

Miley had revealed to her Twitter page that she was missing home yesterday as it was two friends birthdays.

She posted: ‘If there was one day I could fly back to LA and make it home for the show it would be today  my two bestfriends b-days! Bless may 9th.’

Earlier in the day Miley had posted that she and her mother had been bored in their hotel room so Tish Cyrus had decided to give her mother a body scrub – despite the fact it had been mother’s day in America.

Later the youngster tweeted: ‘This has been the best M-Day ever @TishCyrus1 I love u so much! I don’t know many people that would sit and scrub MY body on THEIR day!  ’

While Miley might be feeling pangs of homesickness now she has plenty of tour dates left on her list as she makes her way through South America, The Philipppines and Australia.
